MEET BENJAMIN L DEHNER, MD

Dr. Ben Dehner graduated magna cum laude from Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2001 and graduated from the University of Cincinnati Medical School in 2005. He completed his urology residency at the University of Cincinnati in 2010. After graduation, Dr. Dehner moved with his family to Nashville, where he practiced for eleven years. 

He launched Nashville Urology in 2021.

Dr. Dehner is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is on faculty for both Neotract and Intuitive Surgical. Nashville Urology is also a Urolift Center of Excellence, with more than 800 procedures performed.

In his free time, Dr. Dehner enjoys running, cooking, traveling, and hanging out with his wife and three kids. He’s an avid concert-goer and can often be found at local shows. A pet lover, he has nonetheless drawn the line at two dogs and two lizards. His kids find this unreasonable and are pretty sure they can convince him to add a cat or horse to the family.

Anna Kinney, MPAS, PA-C, is a distinguished Urology Physician Assistant with a strong academic foundation and exemplary clinical credentials. Graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Biology, she further distinguished herself at Bethel University’s Physician Assistant Program, graduating with distinction. 

In 2023, Anna joined the esteemed team at Nashville Urology, contributing her expertise to the field.  Anna's commitment to excellence is underscored by her board certification from the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants, accompanied by an impressive 2,000 hours of clinical experience. A dedicated member of the American Academy of Physician Associates, she remains at the forefront of industry advancements. 

As a lifelong Tennessee native, Anna takes pride in her community, a sentiment reflected in her enthusiastic support for the Tennessee Volunteers. Beyond her professional pursuits, Anna finds joy in spending quality time with friends and family. An avid reader, baker, and traveler, she embraces a well-rounded lifestyle.
